BioMarin’s Building 300 is an 85,000 sf two-story building housing both laboratory and office support functions for BioMarin’s nearby commercial manufacturing facility.
Built in two consecutive phases, the first floor houses QC and Formulation labs, laboratory support spaces as well as offices. The second floor, and this Phase 2 project, was a 43,000 sf office TI consisting of private offices, open offices areas, multiple conference rooms, class rooms, break areas, high-density file storage rooms and several carefully-located interaction areas.
In addition to the office buildout, the project completed the upgrading of the building to a full one-hour rated structure which entailed an upgrade of the roof, stairwells, elevator shaft and all mechanical shafts.
